Tried this place for the first time this past weekend.  I can't say enought great things about the people that work there and the food.  Everyone was so very nice.  The food was awsome and not greasy.  Cole slaw is great.  Wonderful fried chicken, greens, fried okra, etc.  Squash casserole was out of this world.  I know where my new sunday lunch place will be from now on.  Thanks everyone for making me and family feel so welcome.  You guys are GREAT!

I gave 2 stars because the owner and employees were so very nice, but I didn't like the food at all.  The chicken was way over cooked, the gravy was too watery, the sauerkraut had hotdogs in it instead of sausage, and the Mac and cheese tasted like water, not cheese.  I was very impressed with how nice everyone was though.

Went the other day for my yearly inoculation of black eye peas and collard greens. Both were just what I had hoped fo
r, fresh and tasty. The fried chicken was eatable but desiccated and overly greasy. Everything else was good and while the strawberry cobbler lacked eye appeal and doughy  it tasted wonderful with vanilla ice cream. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. They could do better but don't look for me to dis a mom and pop local business.

These have to be some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Everyone was so warm and loving, I couldn't handle it! They greeted me and treated me like family which shocked me. Any positive thoughts you get from thinking of Southern Country cooking are what they exuded. And the price for the buffet was awesome! I had so much food! Everything tastes great, but my favorites were the lima beans, deviled eggs, meatloaf, cheesecake, green beans, and ribs. What's crazy is that these items I listed are maybe a fourth of what was on there. So many options! I highly recommend this to everyone!

I would give this a 2 and a half star.  It's not terrible but it's not good either.  It's an Asian buffet with "country food". Home cooking it's not.  It's either out of a can or a freezer.  The food does not look appetizing or inviting but doesn't taste as bad as it looks.  The waitresses are nice and there seems to be a lot of regulars that come here.  Doubt I would come
back as Golden Corral has much more variety.  This Buffett is very small and not a lot to choose from.
